She has been with us for about 22 years. She came to us unridable and totally unpredictable, especially when in season. Before she came to us she had a foal, Opal, who sadly broke her leg and had to be put to sleep.

In her younger years she was a total pro at jumping after she had quietened down a little. We had a very experienced helper who took her to quite a few local jumping shows and she'd win everything. She used to suffer with sarcoids on her belly and legs but these all disappeared a few years back - along with her unpredicability. She bacame a safe ride although a little nervious around Busses.

Crystal has now retired and is no longer ridden. She has definately chilled in her old age.
